Rubicon Bridge – Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 10, 2025

Welcome to Rubicon Bridge.
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how General Tao Ventures Inc. (“Rubicon Bridge,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal information in connection with our website, app, and related services available at https://www.rubiconbridge.io (collectively, the “Services”).

We value privacy, self-custody, and transparency. Rubicon Bridge is designed to operate with minimal data collection — most blockchain interactions occur directly between you and decentralized networks, without intermediaries.

By using our Services, you agree to this Policy. If you disagree, you must stop using the Services.

1. Who We Are

Rubicon Bridge is a decentralized web application operated by General Tao Ventures Inc., a company registered in the British Virgin Islands.

We provide a non-custodial interface that enables users to stake Bittensor ($TAO) tokens and receive xALPHA tokens on Base. Rubicon Bridge does not hold, manage, or control user assets or wallet keys.

2. Information We Collect

Rubicon Bridge is built with privacy-by-design principles. We collect only the information necessary to operate the Services effectively and securely.

2.1. Information You Provide Voluntarily

  • Contact details: If you email us or submit feedback, we may collect your name, email address, and message content.
  • Account communications: When you interact with us (e.g., via inquiries, partnerships, or support requests), we retain communications for record keeping.

2.2. Information Collected Automatically

When you access the Services, limited technical data may be collected automatically:

  • Device and browser information: e.g., browser type, operating system, screen resolution, referring URLs.
  • Usage data: timestamps, access logs, and general analytics about how you use the site.
  • Blockchain wallet address: when you connect your wallet to the App, your public address is temporarily visible for session functionality (but not stored or controlled by us).

We do not collect personal identifiers (like names, IDs, or payment information) unless you explicitly provide them.

2.3. Information from Third Parties

We may receive limited information (e.g., analytics or anti-abuse data) from service providers such as website hosting, analytics platforms, or security tools.

3. How We Use Information

We use limited data for the following purposes:

  • To operate, maintain, and improve our website and App.
  • To respond to user inquiries or feedback.
  • To detect, prevent, and mitigate fraudulent or abusive behavior.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations.
  • To perform aggregated analytics that help us understand traffic and improve usability.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties.

4. Blockchain Data and Public Information

Transactions conducted through Rubicon Bridge involve public blockchain networks (e.g., Bittensor, Base). Any information written to a blockchain — including wallet addresses, token balances, or transaction data — is public, immutable, and outside our control.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that:

  • Blockchain data is public by design;
  • Deleting or altering on-chain data is technically impossible;
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your wallet credentials and managing your on-chain privacy.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We may use limited, privacy-preserving analytics (e.g., Plausible, Fathom, or self-hosted tools) to understand website performance and user behavior.

If cookies are used, they will be:

  • Non-tracking (no cross-site identifiers or ad profiling);
  • Used only for essential website functionality;
  • Disclosed in a cookie banner if required by your jurisdiction.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.

6. Sharing of Information

We may share information only with:

  • Service providers who assist with infrastructure, analytics, or security;
  • Legal authorities, if required by applicable law, court order, or to protect our rights;
  • Affiliates and professional advisors, strictly for operational or compliance purposes.

We require all such parties to respect this Policy and process data securely.

7. Data Retention

We retain minimal personal information for as long as necessary to:

  • Provide the Services and respond to communications;
  • Comply with legal or regulatory obligations; or
  • Resolve disputes and enforce agreements.

Blockchain data is permanent and cannot be deleted, as it is not stored by us but recorded publicly on decentralized networks.

8. International Data Transfers

Rubicon Bridge operates globally, and data may be processed in jurisdictions with different privacy laws than your own.

By using the Services, you consent to the transfer of your data (if any) to the British Virgin Islands or other locations where our service providers operate, in compliance with applicable data protection standards.

9. Security

We employ industry-standard security measures to protect any data we hold, including encryption, limited access, and secure communication protocols.

However, no online system or blockchain network is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your wallet credentials, private keys, and seed phrases. Rubicon Bridge cannot recover lost keys or assets.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., under GDPR or similar laws), you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Request correction or deletion of your data;
  • Object to or restrict processing;
  • Withdraw consent (where applicable).

To exercise your rights, contact us at contact@generaltao.ventures. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

11. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us, and we will delete it promptly.

12. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Policy periodically to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or operations. The “Last Updated” date at the top will indicate the latest revision. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes your acceptance of the new Policy.
